Freelance illustrator based out of the Greater Los Angeles Area, specifically Orange County.
Attended California State University Long Beach and graduated in 2015 with a BFA in illustration.
Extended and augmented education through numerous internet resources and communities.
Currently working on client-based projects, personal paintings, and teaching.
A firm believer that creativity takes more than talent, exposure, or mileage.
It takes love, admiration, caffeine, grit, and a pinch of disaster too.

Artist Statement
An informed instinct is often more powerful than an inexperienced imagination. It is correcting the course of what's there rather than pretending to
know what isn't. Nature tends to whisper what's right and wrong differently to each individual. Humility allows an artist to grow much more
than righteousness or fear of being wrong. My artwork is the romance between my truths as well as others that I have heard.
If I only show what my truth is, it would simply be incomplete, uninformed, and obviously false.
I try my best to be kinda right and wrong enough in tandem.
Background
I'm a traditionally trained illustrator that works digitally. Most of my work is fantasy oriented with an
emphasis on generating new characters, concepts, and stories. My goal is to contribute and help
establish the groundwork, style, and visual look of future and existing products.
Other Ventures
Private art teaching practice that has also been contracted through two tutoring agencies in Orange County.
Vending at conventions, including Wondercon Anaheim and Long Beach Comic Con.
3 years tutoring English and American culture to international college students.
